Join Vix Technology Group as a Field Engineer

The role is located on-site in Manchester and requires on-site attendance Monday to Friday. We regret that this position is only available for UK citizens/Residents with indefinite leave to remain in the UK, with current full time work rights for the United Kingdom, currently residing in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support around the daily operation, maintenance, and security of production and non-production environments according to ITSM policies.
  • Deploy solutions on the AWS platform and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate experience in AWS cloud-native configuration and support.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts.
  • Practical experience with a scripting language such as PowerShell or Python. Any understanding of development languages such as C#, Java is a bonus.
  • Able to apply creative thinking skills, thrive in an agile environment, with practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
  • Experience with system monitoring and remediation, use of observability tools such as Splunk/CloudWatch.
