Job Title: ROV Tooling Intervention Methods Specialist

Cammach Bryant Limited is seeking a highly skilled ROV Tooling Intervention Methods Specialist to join our team for a 12-month position in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working). This role will involve supporting multiple ongoing projects and general ROV operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of procedures and technical manuals to support ongoing projects.
  • Review of technical documentation written by others, including procedures, manuals, drawings, and storyboards associated with ongoing ROV Operations projects.
  • Technical liaison with Projects/Clients.
  • Monitoring and supervision of activities assigned to Third Party Contractors, including preparation of scope of work, site supervision, approval of deliverables, and compliance with project targets.
  • Attending site visits to coordinate and witness FAT & SIT testing and direct third-party contractors.
  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policy on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters in accordance with company-specific procedures.
  • Ensuring his/her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
Requirements:
  • University or College Engineering education to BSc/BEng or higher.
  • If not degree qualified in Engineering, HND or HNC qualified, with suitable experience, including analytical ability, that is equivalent thereto.
  • Good communication ability at all levels and capable and confident of supervising other disciplines, including drawing office and workshop personnel.
  • Extensive experience of offshore operations, in particular remote intervention operations with WROVs.
  • Experienced in the writing and preparation of technical documentation for remotely operated subsea equipment, including Equipment Operating Procedures and Technical Manuals.
  • Solid understanding of Industry Standards, including ISO 13628-8 Design and operation of subsea production systems Part 8: Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) interfaces on subsea production systems.
  • Good knowledge of system-level engineering.
  • Capable of working without supervision, coordinating varied resources, contributing actively, and having good problem-solving skills.
  • Prepared to work offsite, including overseas, for short periods of duration.
  • Conversant in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Basic ability in the use of AutoCAD would be useful.
  • Hold current offshore (Oil & Gas UK & Norwegian) medical certification and (OPITO & OLF) survival certification.
