Job Title: ROV Tooling Intervention Methods Specialist

Cammach Bryant Limited is seeking a highly skilled ROV Tooling Intervention Methods Specialist to join our team for a 12-month position in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working).

Job Summary:

This role will involve supporting multiple ongoing projects and general ROV operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing procedures and technical manuals, reviewing technical documentation, and providing technical liaison with projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of procedures and technical manuals to support ongoing projects.
  • Review of technical documentation written by others, including procedures, manuals, drawings, and storyboards associated with ongoing ROV Operations projects.
  • Technical liaison with Projects/Clients.
  • Monitoring and supervision of activities assigned to Third Party Contractors, including preparation of scope of work, site supervision, approval of deliverables, and compliance with project targets.
  • Attending site visits to coordinate and witness FAT & SIT testing and direct third-party contractors.
  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policy on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters in accordance with company-specific procedures.
  • Ensuring the safety of oneself and others is not compromised or placed at risk.
Requirements:
  • University or College Engineering education to BSc/BEng or higher.
  • Good communication ability at all levels and capability to supervise other disciplines, including drawing office and workshop personnel.
  • Extensive experience of offshore operations, particularly remote intervention operations with WROVs.
  • Experience in writing and preparing technical documentation for remotely operated subsea equipment, including Equipment Operating Procedures and Technical Manuals.
  • Solid understanding of Industry Standards, including ISO 13628-8 Design and operation of subsea production systems Part 8: Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) interfaces on subsea production systems.
  • Good knowledge of system-level engineering.
  • Ability to work without supervision, coordinate varied resources, contribute actively, and have good problem-solving skills.
  • Preparedness to work offsite, including overseas, for short periods of duration.
  • Conversant in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Basic ability in the use of AutoCAD would be useful.
  • Current offshore (Oil & Gas UK & Norwegian) medical certification and (OPITO & OLF) survival certification.
