We are currently recruiting for a highly organized and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to fill a temporary position within our finance department.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking temporary employment that can develop their skills in purchase ledger management and associated administrative duties.

The role involves working full-time in an office setting with standard working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm, including a daily lunch break.

Main Tasks:
  • Receive and process invoices, ensuring timely payment.
  • Review and address supplier statement discrepancies through communication.
  • Verify banking information and handle incoming mail efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a comparable position, such as purchase ledger or accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Contract Terms:
  • Full-time, office-based position.
  • Working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch).
  • Temporary contract until May 2025.
  • Hourly salary rate: £12 - £14.
