Service & Installation Engineer

Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Salary: £32,000 + Overtime

Hours: 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday)

We are seeking an experienced Service & Installation Engineer to join our team at Hewett Recruitment Careers. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to take on a key role in a dynamic and innovative engineering company based in Worcestershire.

The Role:

As a Service & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining bespoke and standard lifting and handling equipment for customers across the UK. You will uphold high standards of safety and quality, and communicate effectively with clients about their equipment. Overnight travel may be required.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and identify components.
  • Qualified to 18th Edition or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the maintenance of special-purpose machinery.
  • Experience in machine building.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
