We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Support Worker to join our team at a small primary school in Thornton. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a child who requires tailored SEMH support, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs, and be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support tailored to the child's individual SEMH needs.
- Implementing personalised strategies to support the child's engagement, self-regulation, and progress.
- Supporting the child's development in line with their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
- A passionate and experienced SEMH Support Worker.
- Someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
The salary for this role is £12.90 per hour, dependent on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive free child protection and prevent duty training, as well as enhanced DBS checks.
