About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Northumbrian Water. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective operation and maintenance of our sewerage network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Completing comprehensive network investigations to identify the root cause of issues;">
  • Developing and implementing recommendations to improve the sewer network;">
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and contractors;">
  • Producing high-quality reports based on site findings, often under tight deadlines;">
  • Presenting information and data to key business stakeholders;">
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support, including face-to-face contact with customers in our operating region.">

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record in technical support and network operations. Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • ">
  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 qualification in a science, engineering, or environmental related discipline; or equivalent experience;">
  • Proven experience in health and safety procedures and legal and regulatory frameworks;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;">
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions;">
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.">

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including enhanced maternity pay, annual leave, company pension scheme, and employee assistance programme.
