Aircraft Appearance Supervisor

Location: Gatwick Airport

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 0700-1900, 4 on/4 off

Rate of Pay: £14.70 per hour

Job Summary

The Aircraft Appearance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality of cleaning standards are met within the given timeframe. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and be able to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage cleaning teams to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders/clients.
  • Responsible for stock management and stock takes.
  • Ensure the team maintains quality standards of cleaning.
  • Set an example and deliver exceptional service.
  • Efficiently plan and allocate tasks to team members.
  • Monitor the team to ensure all members are working to agreed standards.
  • Responsible for signing in and out equipment.
  • Complete final walkthroughs with the teams.
  • Ensure absence management processes are effectively managed for cleaners, with those absent effectively reported to Managers.
  • Ensure employees perform their jobs effectively, with good management practices including effective appraisals and assessments applied to achieve optimum staff performance, timekeeping, development, and retention.
  • Ensure all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory/management experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Approachable and courteous manner.
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building.
  • UK full driving licence essential.
