Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Sunseeker International Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke carpentry work packages for our luxury yachts, working with a wide variety of timber, sheet materials, and high-quality wood finishes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality carpentry work packages for luxury yachts, including bespoke cabinetry, joinery, and other woodwork.
- Work with a variety of materials, including timber, sheet materials, and high-quality wood finishes.
- Measure, scribe, and cut sheet materials to an impressive tolerance of 0.5mm, within abstract and irregular frames.
- Deliver accurate and well-presented mitre joins by hand and by machine, ensuring grain match and applying appropriate adhesives or fixings.
- Plan projects using scaled drawings to reduce waste, damage, and cost to drive success against targets.
- Previous, relevant, bespoke, and varied work experience in a domestic or site carpentry environment.
- Experience in delivering bespoke carpentry work packages, using a variety of hand and power tools and a range of materials, including pre-finished surfaces.
- Confidently measure, scribe, and cut a variety of sheet materials to an impressive tolerance of 0.5mm, within abstract and irregular frames.
- Deliver accurate and well-presented mitre joins by hand and by machine, ensuring grain match and applying appropriate adhesives or fixings.
- Plan projects using scaled drawings to reduce waste, damage, and cost to drive success against targets.

Our working patterns include day shifts, Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Pay RatesWe offer a competitive pay rate, with basic hourly rates from £14.00 to £16.05, depending on experience, and overtime rates of up to £24.07 (x1.5 rate) and £32.10 (x2 rate, Sundays/Bank Holidays).
