We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to attract individual customers, groups, corporate clients, and special events to our venue.
- Actively seek out and build relationships with local businesses, colleges, and community organisations to drive group bookings and increase sales.
- Respond to inquiries and provide detailed information about our venue, packages, and services to potential customers through various communication channels.
- Manage the booking process, including availability, scheduling, and payment collection, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events, including arranging staffing and handling any special requests or accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales, and customer interactions using our CRM system.
- Engage with the marketing team and external PR agencies to support the development of promotional campaigns and materials, driving sales and increasing brand awareness.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience and boost sales.
- Proven experience in a sales or marketing management role, preferably in the hospitality, entertainment, or events industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure group bookings and corporate partnerships.
- Outstanding organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple bookings and inquiries simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software and online booking systems.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the local market and an existing network of contacts in the Kingston area is a plus.
Salary range: £35,000 - £40,000
