Position Overview

Sja's West is committed to empowering volunteers with lifesaving skills. As District Training Lead, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between regional training and district volunteers, enabling the district management team to develop an effective training plan that meets the organization's needs.

You will support the implementation of this plan and lead a team of District Training Officers to facilitate internal training delivery and support unit managers/area managers within the district.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a training plan that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of District Training Officers to ensure effective training delivery.
  3. Collaborate with district management to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  4. Provide support and guidance to unit managers/area managers to ensure successful training implementation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and district management. You will also need to have a strong understanding of first aid and training principles.
