About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Officers Mess, Baker Barracks, Thorney Island. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues and communicating effectively
  • Follow recipe cards and maintain accurate records of food preparation and delivery
  • Assist with deliveries, stock checks, and kitchen deep cleans
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, and hot cabinets
  • Act as a trainer/coach for new team members
Requirements
  • Relevant culinary qualification (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent)
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Confident chef with a passion for delivering high-quality food
  • Flexibility and ability to innovate
