Job Title: Risk Consultant - Property and Chemical Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Consultant to join our team. As a Risk Consultant, you will work closely with our Underwriters to manage risk consulting at an account management level. Your expertise in property and chemical risks will be invaluable in supporting our Underwriters on risk selection, conducting desktop reviews of surveys, and educating on awareness of risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships with clients and be the main contact point for them.
  2. Be responsible for risk improvement by clients through proactive recommendation monitoring.
  3. In charge of the contract life cycle for a client, including budget, contracts, offers, meetings, and stewardship meetings.
  4. Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements with clients to ensure quality of services delivered.
  5. Responsible for the profitability of client accounts.
  6. Work closely with local Underwriters, Claims, and Sales teams to secure business through assessment of new/renewed clients.
  7. Collaborate with all Risk Consulting Lines of Business.
  8. Work a minimum of 80% of time on Account Engineering tasks and up to a maximum of 20% of time on surveys.

Requirements:

  • Chemical background and qualifications desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience of assessing property and/or chemical risks is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to analyze risk surveys and provide advice to Underwriters accordingly.
  • Risk Management or CII qualifications are highly beneficial.
