About the Role

We have a fixed-term opportunity for a Fostering Recruitment Support Worker within our Countywide Fostering Recruitment Team. This is a temporary maternity cover, starting in October 2024, for 12 months. The role is part-time (18 hours per week).

As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to our focused campaign to increase in-house carers and assist carers with the application and assessment process. You'll work closely with social workers in the Fostering Teams, particularly recruitment, and provide performance data to evidence statutory timescales.

About You

We're looking for someone who is kind, caring, and respectful of individuals' qualities, abilities, and diverse backgrounds. You'll be organized, able to provide assistance to prospective foster carers, and monitor progress and timescales. You'll also support carers in registering for mandatory training and contribute to the development of the fostering service.
