About the Role:

The Sales Associate - Retail Professional at NEXT drives sales growth by personally selling across all product categories and delivering exceptional customer experiences that align with our brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and growth by personally selling to customers and building strong relationships with them.
  • Connect with multiple customers and provide them with a memorable experience.
  • Proactively engage with customers, read cues, and respond effectively to their needs.
  • Create a loyal customer base by asking effective questions, making product recommendations, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Use confident selling statements and effectively overcome customer objections.
  • Provide customers with the perfect product fit by asking questions, taking measurements, or conducting fittings.
  • Display expert product knowledge and take initiative where needed to drive sales and growth.
  • Participate in sales goal setting with manager and track individual performance towards the goal.
  • Deliver a friendly and efficient customer experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

  • Create customer awareness to build customer loyalty, when applicable.
  • Set personal goals and track individual and team performance to the goals.
  • Prepare for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions, and applicable procedures.
  • Take initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell.
  • Understand and adhere to visual merchandising brand standards.
  • Assist in housekeeping of sales floor and communicate maintenance issues.
  • Keep an awareness of, and build personal capability in, loss prevention.
  • Reinforce store strategy to reduce shrink.
  • Support all activities related to providing a safe working environment.
  • Understand and demonstrate Company values.
