Technical Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support initiatives within the Lead to Order process and tools in our IT department. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with internal and external colleagues based in Cambridge, with two days of office time expected.
To succeed in this role, you will possess outstanding people management, interpersonal skills, and domain expertise. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the project lifecycle from initial setup, design, build, test, and implementation, adhering to quality and timeline standards.
- Driving project delivery through daily engagement with agile delivery IT teams and business customers.
- Regularly communicating project status and handling risks effectively.
- Taking ownership of risks and issues, prioritizing, and demonstrating situational leadership.
- Managing regular status reporting with IT and business stakeholders.
- Leading multiple projects through agile delivery teams of varying size and stages concurrently.
To excel in this position, you should have:
- Experience in Project Delivery, familiar with both waterfall and agile methodologies, with a focus on working with agile delivery teams.
- The ability to adapt your style and approach to meet the needs of the Business and the Project.
- Proficiency in key project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects.
- Skill in handling dependencies across multiple teams globally.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with commercial systems like Salesforce or SAP or any digital or web platforms.
- Acknowledgement of commercial and/or finance business processes.
