Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including visual merchandising, stock levels, and store cleanliness.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and managing stockroom operations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and meet targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a retail management role, preferably in a pet-related industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering high standards and great results in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of retail operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
