We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Advisor. As a Peer Advisor, you will work closely with our clients, providing vital support, guidance, and advice to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans with clients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Provide mentoring and support to clients, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to build professional relationships and provide additional support to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, and maintain open communication with the St Giles Peer Advisor Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Ability to undergo training for the role of Peer Advisor, including a Level 3 certificate in Advice and Guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong understanding of the issues faced by our clients.
  • Ability to calculate risk and implement safety procedures when engaging with clients.
