Job Title: Childcare Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Childcare Educator to join our team at Kirkhill Primary School in Inverness. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early learning and childcare services to young children and their families.

The estimated salary for this position is £20,063 - £21,976 per annum (Unqualified) or £22,286 - £24,405 per annum (Qualified).

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work as an effective member of a team, delivering a flexible, high-quality early learning and childcare service that meets the needs of young children and their families.
  • To hold a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC/NNEB/SVQ 3) or agree to work towards one within an agreed timescale.
  • To register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and maintain relevant registration throughout employment.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
