About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our Mobile Engineering team. As a key member of our agile development team, you'll create new features for our apps that directly impact our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test new features for our Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Collaborate with Customer Journey Experts and Product Owners to improve our user experience
  • Write and maintain comprehensive, automated unit and integration tests
  • Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art development tools and technologies
  • Guide junior developers through code reviews, design reviews, and pair programming
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in mobile Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience in writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests
  • Familiarity with material design and Android UI design guidelines, as well as backend communication (REST and JSON)
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art development tools (MacOS, Git, Android Studio, and CI/CD) and solid understanding of memory management, concurrency, and multi-threading
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
