Job Summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our Contracting Team in Nelson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various items of construction equipment and heavy plant, specifically the Hydrovac.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy vehicles and other road construction equipment to the highest standard.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant job and work instructions.
  • Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, and yourself.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum Class 4 driver's license.
  • Preferably have experience in hydro evacuation.
  • Able to work both independently and as a team.
  • An unwavering commitment to living safely with a safety record to match.
  • Excellent communication skills.
