About the Role

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled Hydrovac Specialist to join our Contracting Team in Nelson.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects for internal and external customers in the Nelson Region, operating various items of construction equipment and heavy plant, specifically the Hydrovac.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy vehicles and other road construction equipment to best practice.
  • Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public, and yourself.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant job and work instructions.

Requirements

  • Minimum Class 4 driver's license.
  • Preferably have experience in hydro evacuation.
  • Able to work both independently or as a team.
  • An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be a reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
