Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA), a leading alternative investment specialist and wholly owned subsidiary of the Pictet Group, is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Acquisition Specialist to join its pan-European focused Direct Real Estate franchise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading direct real estate acquisition processes, overseeing asset and portfolio management, managing disposal and refinancing processes, and contributing to fundraising efforts. This role requires up to 6 years of experience in Real Estate acquisitions, with a strong background in finance, economics, or accounting, and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

As part of the PAA team, you will have a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals dedicated to expanding Pictet's presence in the European real estate market. You will be based in London, working closely with senior industry professionals and contributing to the success of PAA's ambitious growth plans.

This position offers exceptional exposure to different asset classes and transactions across Europe, as well as the possibility to directly contribute to the expansion of Pictet's Direct Real Estate franchise. Responsibilities:

  • Lead direct real estate acquisition process, including sourcing new investment opportunities, reviewing underwriting models, and preparing documents for internal approval
  • Oversee asset and portfolio management, engaging with operating partners to drive investment performance and assisting in quarterly reporting
  • Manage disposal and refinancing processes, liaising with operating partners, brokers, lenders, and prospective buyers to successfully dispose of portfolio assets
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts, preparing ad-hoc materials on existing and pipeline investments

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or an equivalent qualification from a top-tier university
  • Up to 6 years of experience in Real Estate acquisitions, acquired either through a Value Add Fund or an Operating Partner
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong command of English required, with another European language (Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, German) being an asset

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and a dynamic work environment.
