About the Role

Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment specialist and wholly owned subsidiary of the Pictet Group, with expertise in hedge funds, private equity and global real estate. As a key member of our pan-European focused Direct Real Estate franchise, you will be responsible for leading direct real estate acquisition processes, overseeing asset and portfolio management, and managing disposal and refinancing processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Source new investment opportunities and review underwriting / modelling investments
  • Prepare documents required for internal Investment Committee approval and carry out due diligence
  • Agree terms with various counterparties and oversee asset and portfolio management
  • Manage disposal and refinancing processes, liaising with operating partners, brokers, lenders and prospective buyers
  • Contribute to fundraising process, preparing ad-hoc materials on existing and pipeline investments

About You

We are seeking a highly driven individual with a university degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a top tier university. Up to 6 years of experience in Real Estate acquisitions, acquired either through a Value Add Fund or an Operating Partner, is required. Prior exposure to southern Europe, continental Europe and/or the Nordics will be an asset. Proven solid modelling and analytical skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a natural ability to work with a team across various locations are essential. Excellent command of English is required, completed with another European language: Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, German will be an asset.
