Garden Expert & Community Liaison

At idverde Uk, we are seeking a skilled Garden Expert & Community Liaison to lead our kitchen garden operations in the prestigious Royal Parks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen garden, developing educational programs, and fostering community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen garden, including planning, planting, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for the community, focusing on sustainable gardening practices and environmental conservation.
  • Collaborate with volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of new gardening initiatives, ensuring they align with company goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of garden activities, including inventory management and volunteer hours.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, share knowledge, and address any challenges.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in kitchen gardening, horticulture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable gardening practices and environmental conservation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and gardening software.
  • Knowledge of pest and disease management techniques, as well as tool maintenance and storage.
