Job Title: GI Specialist Nurse
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £58,000 per annum

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team as a GI Specialist Nurse. As a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), you will work closely with surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists to provide expert care to patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement service improvements to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Build strong relationships with other specialties locally and nationally through educational events and networking
- Promote the GI team at cancer awareness events and contribute to the development of educational materials
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across sites to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide nurse-led clinics and deliver personalized information on GI cancer diagnosis to patients and their families
- Utilize specialist knowledge to support patients' holistic needs, considering emotional, social, and psychological factors alongside physical requirements
- Conduct regular reviews of patients on your caseload, providing stratified care, informed assessments, and written care plans
