*Estimated salary based on an hourly rate of £12 to £12.30 for daytime shifts (depending on qualifications) and an average of 8 sleep-in shifts per month at £60 per sleep night

Essential qualifications for a Youth Residential Care Specialist:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable) or a willingness to obtain this qualification upon employment
  • Experience in a children's residential setting (highly desirable)
  • A genuine passion for nurturing young individuals
  • Flexibility to work 24 to 48-hour shift patterns (including sleep-in shifts) - rotas provided in advance, typically 2 on 4 off
  • Full UK driving license (essential)
  • All candidates must be over the age of 21 to comply with industry regulations
