We are seeking a passionate and experienced EHCP Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities by managing the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate EHCPs and manage the process from start to finish.
- Work closely with children, young people, and their families to understand their needs and develop personalized plans.
- Collaborate with educational, health, and social care professionals to ensure seamless coordination and effective support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including schools, local authorities, and healthcare providers.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in SEND.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in coordinating EHCPs or working within a SEND-related role in an educational, health, or social care setting.
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, education, health, and care legislation, and local authority processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and sensitively to a diverse audience.
