Hutcheon Mearns is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Advisor Trainee to join their team in Aberdeen City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounting and/or Finance Graduate to pursue a career in Tax and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Opportunity

The Tax Advisor Trainee will be responsible for assisting with implementing the Group's taxation strategy, monitoring and managing the UK's effective tax rate, and maintaining relationships with auditors and professional advisors. You will also provide support to Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business in relation to material tax matters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or a similar relevant subject
  • Placement or internship experience is desired but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to use initiative
