Job Title: Clinical Site Liaison

As a Clinical Site Liaison, you will play a critical role in supporting the conduct and patient recruitment of global clinical trials at investigative sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in feasibility activities, providing key country/region-specific knowledge, patient pathways, and operational execution.
  • Interface with sites, KOLs, networks, and Patient Advocacy groups, providing expertise on clinical trial protocols and SME knowledge.
  • Lead local site, KOL, and network engagement initiatives to support clinical trials.
  • Contribute to trial-specific site feasibility/selection strategy and collaborate with the Clinical Trial Team and CRO to support site start-up.
  • Facilitate site contract negotiation and collaboration with the GloSaM group.
  • Proactively understand site preferences, best practices, and competing studies to ensure successful patient recruitment and high-quality conduct.
  • Work closely with the Global Patient Advocacy team, speaking to patient groups, and attending live and virtual events to respond to questions about the client, trial(s), and Mode of Action.
  • Participate in monitoring oversight activities, ensuring high-quality conduct and execution of clinical trials according to protocol and ICH GCP and local regulatory requirements.
  • Closely work with Medical Affairs colleagues to ensure optimal synergies in site contacts and support.
  • Optimize site engagement for specific trials and across the neurology franchise to ensure site-level enrollment and execution.
  • Oversee and track patient recruitment for regional sites, proactively identifying ways to prevent recruitment delays.
  • Identify issues, look for solutions, and timely escalate them to the respective study CTM, CODL, Global Head of Clinical Site Communication, Recruitment, and Liaisons, Head of Trial Operations, and/or Senior Management.
  • Identify efficiencies, best practices, and lessons learned, ensuring they are shared across trials/indications/compounds.
  • Search for and embrace innovation.
  • Provide input to the clinical development strategy/plan and participate in workstreams, providing input to procedures/SOPs/WIs and related documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field, or equivalent by experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Biotech/Pharma, preferably in roles including site engagement and/or clinical trial monitoring.
  • Valid driver's license and ability for national and occasional international travel.
  • Experience in global clinical trials and prior experience in Neurology, Auto-immune, and rare disease background are a plus.
