**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Care Support Specialist to join our team in Alness. As a key member of our community, you will provide exceptional care to children and young people in their own homes, addressing their complex clinical needs while offering practical support to their families.

**Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical and social care tailored to the unique needs of each child
  • Delivering both personal care and support, as well as specialist clinical care, including invasive/non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, nebuliser treatment, and seizure management
  • Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with sensitivity and expertise
  • Supporting the child in accessing and participating in community activities, fostering social interaction and independence
  • Encouraging and empowering the child to achieve greater autonomy in their daily life

**Requirements and Salary:**

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
  • Experience working with children and young people (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided)
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
