Job Overview

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic newly qualified registered nurses to join our established multi-disciplinary teams. As a newly qualified nurse, you will have the opportunity to consolidate your skills and knowledge in a supportive clinical environment.

Main Duties of the Job

You will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care across our three sites. The post holder will complete the Trust's Preceptorship package, supported by our dedicated clinical education team. During the preceptorship period, you will provide care across your chosen pathway, identifying your strengths and areas for development.

We have a range of registered nurse vacancies across the Trust, including Surgery, Medicine, and Other Areas. Posts are available across a range of clinical areas, and we are also able to support rotational posts across a number of pathways.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues
  • Completion of Nurse Training Programme to obtain registration with the NMC
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with multi-disciplinary team/client/relatives

Desirable Criteria

  • Evidence of working effectively within the multi-disciplinary team
  • Resourceful and able to work on own initiatives
  • Precise and methodical in working practice and able to work under own initiative
