Job Overview

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic newly qualified registered nurses to join our established multi-disciplinary teams. As a newly qualified nurse, you will be part of an organisation that prioritises supporting nurses to consolidate their skills and knowledge.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment. You will complete the Trust's Preceptorship package, supported by our dedicated clinical education team, using our excellent education facilities and specialist teams.

Working for Our Organisation

We have a range of registered nurse vacancies across the Trust, including:

  • Surgery: Elective Surgery Wards, Emergency Wards, and Theatres
  • Medicine: Emergency Wards, Critical Care Units, and Diagnostic & Out Patient Services
  • Other Areas: Emergency Departments and Endoscopy
Person Specification

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Nurse Training Programme to obtain registration with the NMC

Experience:

  • Essential criteria: Completion of Nurse Training Programme to obtain registration with the NMC

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Essential criteria: Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with multi-disciplinary team/client/relatives

Organisational Skills:

  • Essential criteria: Resourceful and able to work on own initiatives
