IT Accounting and Controlling Manager

Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced IT Accounting and Controlling Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day work of capturing IT invoices correctly, allocating to the correct account, cost center, and project, and applying the correct Opex/Capex classification.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of global IT controlling, including organizing and preparing IT reporting.
- Work with existing templates to monitor the impact on business, IT operations, and IT cost.
- Achieve budget objectives by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Provide status of financial condition by collecting, consolidating, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Manage IT assets on the Balance Sheet resulting from spending on projects and centralized purchase of licenses and hardware.
- Experience in IT Controlling with progressive experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and implementing process frameworks, management, and analytics.
- Excellent knowledge in International Accounting Standards.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated ability to solve problems with innovative solutions.
- Experience implementing systems/processes to track baseline operational procedures and advising on direction to reduce baseline operational costs while maintaining quality of service.
Salary: £60k – 70k per year (pro rata for part-time position)
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to our office)
