Job Title: Assistant Principal (Pupil Development & Well-being)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Principal to lead our Senior School's pastoral support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to enhance pupil well-being, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and strategies to enhance pupil well-being
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders to achieve school goals
  • Lead and manage the Form Tutor Teams
  • Collaborate across departments to integrate well-being into the curriculum
  • Manage external mental health education relationships
  • Provide leadership and appraisal for pastoral staff
  • Support with safeguarding for Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Liaise with external bodies


Requirements:
  • Dynamic and experienced leader with strong management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with pupils and maintain high levels of organisation and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Awareness of the role of well-being in raising standards
  • Experience in leading school-wide well-being initiatives an advantage
