About the Role

The Richmond Mental Health Support Team is seeking a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner or Child Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work with children, young people, and their families to provide early interventions and support for mental health and wellbeing.

Our team uses a whole-school approach to mental health, working with schools and other partners to provide a range of services. We are committed to providing high-quality support and interventions to children and young people who need it most.

As a successful candidate, you will have a strong background in mental health and wellbeing, with experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, using a range of therapeutic interventions and assessments to support children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with children, young people, and their families to provide early interventions and support for mental health and wellbeing.
  • Use a range of therapeutic interventions and assessments to support children and young people.
  • Work with schools and other partners to provide a range of services.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide high-quality support and interventions.
