We are seeking a passionate Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our high-performing Secondary School and Sixth Form in Birmingham. As part of our dedicated team, you will support students aged 11-18, helping them excel in Maths and develop their confidence in the subject.

About the Role

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will assist teachers in delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will work 1:1 and in small groups with students to provide targeted intervention and support, helping them with exam preparation and study skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Provide targeted intervention and support to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
  • Help students with exam preparation and study skills.
  • Gain first-hand experience in classroom management and lesson planning.
  • Be mentored by experienced teachers who will guide and support your development.

Requirements

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree in Mathematics (essential).
  • Matching A level and GCSE's are a must.
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for helping young people succeed.
