About the Role:

As a key member of the Finance team at Investigo, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue sales invoices and credit notes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely submission.
  • Handle internal and external inquiries related to accounts receivable processes, providing excellent customer service and ensuring queries are resolved efficiently.
  • Manage and update the accounts receivable ledger, client portals, and invoices, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Generate accurate debtor and reconciliation reports on a weekly basis, providing insights into cash flow and helping inform business decisions.
  • Record banking transactions in the cashbook and reconcile accounts, transferring funds when necessary to maintain a healthy cash position.
  • Prepare weekly Cash Collections/Forecast reports and assist with cash flow forecasting, helping to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and monitor the Finance inbox, redirecting queries as needed to ensure prompt responses.
  • Produce, distribute, and track the "missed milestone" report to ensure timely follow-up and minimize delays.
  • Track and report on cash invoicing for projects marked as 100% complete, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Perform filing, general administrative duties, and housekeeping tasks as required, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Actively pursue outstanding payments and reduce debt levels, working closely with clients to resolve any issues.
  • Set up new customer accounts as needed, ensuring seamless onboarding and excellent customer experience.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties within the finance department as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data and create accurate reports.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to resolve queries efficiently and effectively.
