Programme Overview

ABC Teachers is proud to launch its National Teaching Assistant Programme, designed to support individuals who want to start a Teaching Assistant career. The Programme is a unique opportunity to work alongside our client schools, providing high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.

The Role

The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day-to-day running of schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to manage behaviour, support pupils, and contribute to a positive learning environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, working with a dedicated consultant and receiving ongoing support.

Training and Development

Before starting your placement, you will complete a training programme delivered by ABC Teachers and school leaders. This programme will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to work as a Teaching Assistant. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and settings, gaining valuable experience and building your professional network.
