Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company on trade bodies such as Fresh Produce Consortium and FNET.
  • Ensure compliance with UK ethical standards and drive ESG reporting tailored to retailer specifications, down to farm level.
  • Maintain and report relevant data on retailer grower lists and monitor ESG metrics.
  • Focus, monitor, and report on retailer projects related to social and environmental issues.
  • Manage annual labour supplier audits for compliance with labour standards.
  • Present up-to-date ESG data and reports to retailers and internally, tailored to retailer sources.
  • Maintain and update Company ESG and certification policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with UK ethical standards (Smeta, BRC, Stronger Together, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Experience of UK compliance and ethical standards (Smeta, BRC, Stronger Together).
  • Excellent data tracking and reporting skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with retailer ESG departments.
  • Current role may be in a FMCG or Retail Organisation.
  • Fresh Produce experience – advantageous.
