Join Our Team as an Academic Board Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Board Member to join our team at Charity People. As a key member of our Board, you will play a vital role in shaping the organisation's strategic and operational plans, leading their successful implementation, and promoting a positive and professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organisational growth and success
  • Lead the Board and staff in promoting a positive and professional workplace culture
  • Work with the Co-Chairs to develop good governance practice and uphold regulatory requirements
  • Oversight of volunteer strategy and ongoing management of volunteers
  • Champion prevention of HIV, removal of stigma associated with HIV, and high-quality support for people living with HIV
What We Offer:
  • 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays) pro-rata
  • 6% employer pension contribution
  • Permanent contract with a 6-month probationary period
