Job Title: Academic Board Member

Join Action Tutoring as an Academic Board Member and contribute to shaping the future of education.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our Board of Directors as an Academic Board Member. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of our organization and ensuring the delivery of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on academic matters, ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Work closely with our CEO and Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
  • Represent Action Tutoring externally, promoting our work and values to stakeholders, partners, and the wider community.
Requirements
  • Proven track record as a CEO or Board-level senior leader, ideally in a non-profit organization.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve organizational vision and mission.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, with extensive experience representing organizations externally to various stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the education sector, and the needs and drivers of stakeholders across the education space.
