Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Olaf Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to residents, in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist in creating a positive and supportive environment, encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their peers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Adhere to Meallmore's standards, policies, and procedures, as well as national care standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A kind and caring nature, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
