About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Manor Care Centre in Nairn. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, adhering to their individual care plans.
  • Assist in creating a positive and supportive environment, encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their peers.
  • Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
  • Carry out personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations
  • Kind, caring, and empathetic nature
