Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lawson Road Surgery. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously, and leading the development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service.

Main Duties

  • Provide expert advice, education, and support to staff, patients, and their families.
  • Practice autonomously as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, providing patient-centered clinical care, including advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Support new ways of working, focusing on efficiency and patient-centered care, ensuring the safe treatment, referral, and discharge of patients.
  • Lead the development of clinical practice and standards of care, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Person Specification

  • Professional registration with a relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
  • Post-graduate qualification in a specific specialty or equivalent experience.
  • Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in the specialty area.

  • Advanced clinical assessment skills.
