The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching functional skills in English and Maths, with experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students, with a focus on developing their functional skills in English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach functional skills in English and Maths to students with SEND
  • Develop and implement effective teaching plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS preferred but not essential
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Ability to teach functional skills in English and Maths
