About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide one-to-one support to students in Functional Skills Maths or English. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with students who require emotional support and be confident in communicating with local authorities and care home staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and tailored sessions to students in Functional Skills Maths or English
  • Work with students who have varying challenges, including behavioural challenges, SEN, and looked after children
  • Plan and deliver sessions in a flexible and adaptable manner
  • Provide emotional support to students as needed
Requirements
  • Teaching with QTS or tutoring/TA experience (Non QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Valid DBS on the update service (able to apply through Teaching Personnel)
