We are St Andrew's, a mental health charity that inspires hope. Our mission is to transform the lives of people with complex mental health needs. We provide specialist mental healthcare and deliver a range of inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education, and research that helps to improve lives.
Our vision for the future is a society in which everyone living with mental health needs is heard, valued, and has hope for their future.
The role
We are seeking a skilled Therapist and Educator to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological treatments to patients via evidence-based multi-model interventions, such as Dialectical Behaviour, Cognitive Behaviour, or other manualised treatment protocols.
You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. Your role will also involve organising and providing teaching and training as required, as well as reliably collecting and interpreting data regarding the outcomes of interventions provided.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification as a therapist and be able to risk assess and manage people with severe complex needs. You must also be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and sensitively.
Training or experience in delivery of other psychological interventions is not essential but desirable.
Our rewards and benefits
We offer an excellent benefits package, including a pension, sickness policy on par with the NHS, access to the Blue Light Card and Health Service Discounts schemes, 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 41 after 10 years' service, life cover, electric car lease scheme, cycle to work scheme, healthcare cash plan, free parking, paid DBS application, and access to free vocational qualifications. On-site facilities include a gym, swimming pool, and cafés, all set within beautiful grounds.
