AV Technician Job Opportunity

  • We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to provide technical support for interactive monitors.
  • The role involves resolving issues via email, phone, and visits, as well as driving a company van and transporting tools and equipment.
  • You will be responsible for remote and on-site support, hardware repairs, software upgrades, and assisting with cabling department projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of AV systems, Windows, and other relevant technologies.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the UK are also required.
  • Bonus points for experience with Ford transit-style vans and previous store or stock management roles.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and effective technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical assistance to customers via various communication channels.

* Conduct on-site visits to diagnose and repair AV equipment.

Requirements:

* Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and related technologies.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to customers.

* Physical stamina to lift and transport heavy equipment.

Working Conditions:

* The position may require occasional overnight stays away from home.

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + benefits.
