Job Overview:

As a Hospital Medication Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe management of medicines across our hospital. You will be responsible for advising hospital departments on medication management and compliance with legislation and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for medication management
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with medication standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve healthcare goals
  • Provide education and training to staff on medication management

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist educated to degree level
  • Current GPhC registration with a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying practice in hospital settings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
